Using the latest in network technology we can seamlessly create a channel between your offices and any remotely monitored device on our network. This "Channel" can be created on demand, or created by the remote device, or originated from your offices. We can even configure the system to establish a channel under certain conditions at the remote.

We can currently support the following remote systems:
  • RS232/232C
  • RS485
  • 802.11a/b/g Wireless Devices using IP Ports
  • 10Base2/10Base10/100BaseT/TX Wired Devices using IP Ports
  • 16 Channel A2D and D2A Interfaces (can be cascaded up to 1024 channels)
  • 8/16 Channel Relay Drivers, to drive relays to your specification. 

And many other devices and protocols can be connected using one of the systems above. 

Using our system you can connect virtually any system to your offices and a single PC can connect to up to 65000 devices simultaneously.
Some examples of use are: Security Systems/Alarms, Telephone Systems, Vending Machines, Air Conditioning, Industrial Control/CNC Systems, Conveyor Systems and many more. 
 
In addition to pure remote monitoring and control, we can also provide and install industrial PC's to collect, process and control remote operations, and then you can establish remote monitoring and control sessions to these PC's too. The benefits of localised processing are many, but one good use is to pre-process data from multiple devices prior to reporting back to base. For example, you may have 20 CNC machines that don't talk much when they are in operation, but you may want to ask them periodically for their status. A localised processor could perform this function, collecting the information and then packaging it all up and transmitting it back to base at a predetermined time. 
 
Resilient and Redundant Links

Some, if not all remote process monitoring is mission critical and with that comes a requirement for resilience. We can achieve this in two ways...

  • Having two disparate paths for the data, one for example via SDSL, the other via ISDN
  • Having a secondary (or backup) path that can be remotely initiated, for example a dial-up path. 

The latter is by far the cheapest, but it does rely on some decision making whereas the first option is fully automated.
